VP of Engineering

Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is looking for a VP of Engineering for one of our premier clients in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a full-time, direct hire position that will be working remotely. As their employee, you qualify for their full benefit package.

Job Responsibilities:

• Juggle competing demands and find and interface with capable engineers for the team to do the customers product design.
• Direct teams to design products on schedule, on budget, and with high quality. 
• Delegating work and assisting engineers as needed
• Able to identify risks and estimate budgets and schedules accurately
• Interface with customers
• Ensure projects are on budget and on schedule 95% of the time (not including changes made by the customer).

Job Requirements:

• experience with wearable devices and other products like: small and miniature electronics
• Broad experience with hardware and firmware
• Familiar with current chips, sensors, FPGA's, and other related technology used broadly in electronic design for small and miniature PCBs.

Desired Experience: 

• Experience with design services: electronic design houses 
• Prior experience working in the Medtech or the IOT space industries
• Broad experience with software.
• Familiar with design and manufacturing of electronic devices.

Base Salary: $140,000-$185,000+ plus bonus depending on project completion
