Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is looking for an FPGA Design/Architect Engineer for one of our premier clients in the Chandler, AZ area. Essential Functions for FPGA Design/Architect Engineer:
  • Lead Digital & Firmware development from architecture, component selection, design, verification/validation to implantation & production ramp.
  • Design and implement digital circuits using Verilog or VHDL.
  • Develop and optimize FPGA-based solutions for specific applications.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems. Stay up-to-date with the latest embedded high-speed systems technologies and industry trends.
Minimum Qualifications for FPGA Design/Architect Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL.
  • Experience with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx, Altera, Vivado or Client Quartus.
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) and/or embedded systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge new standards - SOSA
  • Experienced with complex circuit board design process. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Eligibility Requirement: This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. Additionally, as a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
