Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Test Engineers in conducting package testing for their customers
- Manage a small Team, be a designated trainer and coach, is a MUST
- Subject matter expert for Transit Testing and Medical Lab Testing; this involves supporting productions floor for Engineers and Technicians
- Interpret data to recognize and identify deviations, provide insight, provide recommendations to customers on ways to improve packaging when failures occur
- Experience with conducting complex customer testing
- Monitor and provide very professional customer communications
- Maintain various site standards and expectations
Job Requirements:
- BS Degree in Engineering, Packaging or Packaging emphasis, or equivalent technical education degree
- 3 to 5+ years of previous work experience in packaging, product testing, or related industry is required
- 3 to 5+ years of previous working environmental testing experience, ideally in conducting product/packaging testing
- 3 to 5+ years of previous Team Lead or Managing and coaching a small or medium sized Team
- Experienced with reading and interpreting documents, protocols, industry specifications (ASTM, ISTA) and procedures
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and general computer literacy
- Math skills: Advanced algebra, statistical analysis, and geometry
